Anyone know of companies that do product testing for the major retailers (WalMart, Sears, Home Depot)?

I am doing a research product on companies that do performance testing on consumer or household products. I would like to identify who some of the major players are in this industry.

Walmart has there own subsidiary for product testing. They do work for others as well. It is based in Bentonville, AR.


Call the corp office and ask for the product testing laboratory.


Federated stores has the same situation, and their dept is at Macys 151 w34 St NY NY 10001.

Reply:I know that Dow Corning tests different makeup and perfumes sold at Yonkers, Elder Beerman, Sears, and JcPenny
