Do commercials really portray the real quality of the products?
I dont know if this answers your question or not but I do a lot of commercials and I know that before I do a shoot I do a lot of research on the product I am trying sell...If I had to answer this honestly I would say that I feel like the script I am given for selling a product is very very close to the quality of the product...of course there are also some false pretenses as to make the product seem better than others but when it comes down to the quality and truth behind a product it is 98% truthful...Hope this has helped you some...GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SEARCH...
Reply:Beauty products I think are way off. I mean come on, they are trying to tell me that I use this product my skin will look like Claudia Shiffers or Christy Brinkleys. I wish they'd be more realistic with the anti-aging products. Put real women in them like they are doing with Dove. I for one LOVE those ads.

Infomercials are terrible. The cleaning products are way off base. This vacuum is so powerful it practically vacuums clear down to the floor boards. This bathroom cleaner you can just spray it on and just wipe off all the build up on your shower just like that. (I just snapped my fingers)
Reply:There are some products that I have bought (because I seen the commercial) that I have been very pleased with how close to the truth the commercials have really been. Like that film wrap, cant think of the name of it, but it seals all by it's self. I also found out that there are "certain" laws, for certain products, when it comes to false advertisement. Like there are no laws that "govern", beauty aids. They could basicly tell us ANYTHING to buy the product, and if it doesn't work, we're the one that are SOL.
