Do you think if any race is 'superior,' it's the Chinese?

China is the world's oldest continuous civilization, in existence for more than four thousand years. In its golden age it discovered matches 700 years before Westerners, invented gunpowder, firearms, rockets, and grenades, developed the first paper from the bark of trees and the first form of wood block printing, sent ships to explore as far as South Africa...And the list goes on and on. Now it's the world's largest consumer with the world's largest military (2 million), the first non-Western nuclear power, and the government wants to turn 100 universities into world class research centers, and the majority opinion is that it will be a superpower within our own lifetimes...What makes the Chinese so ahead of everyone else?

i'm chinese and yet i don't consider people of my culture, including myself as being better than anyone elses. we all have our own faults just like every other race and hence, no race is better than the other

Reply:If they are so smart, why are they copying the west? they want to be like us but will end up in the same pollution dead end we are in.








if they are superior why haven't they come up with a better social programme than either communism or capitalism?
Reply:I don't like to categorize,but the Chinese are some very smart people.They are a superpower! They have enough money invested in the world trade system that if they decided to shift the bulk of it certain governments would crumble.They have many trillions,and trillions of $ circulating world wide.The engineering technology they have developed is 2nd to none.
Reply:no race is superior over others...thats being ethnocentric.


china's success lies in the sheer number of its people, that is its capital unlike other industrialised whose capital is technology.
Reply:Maybe from your own point of view...but Russians consider themselves superior too...as well as with the Americans...the Germans...the Japanese and etc. Can't we just live harmoniously and peacefully nothwithstanding what race we belong?
Reply:The superiority that the Chinese have over others would be their ability to work together to accomplish a goal, much like army ants.





I believe every race has something going for them though that the other might not, that's what makes each of us unique
