the money that we have spent ondrugs and the finding out about drugs(marawana specifcly)we could have gave out millions to the poor.think about it now.we pay150.000 dallars a year to some of these war lord government officials.we have spent trillions just in the justice system alone on pot.from jail to feeding inmates.just the research alone put us into the national debt.if you want consumer spending legalize pot and tax the hell out of it.be a new market.farmers to retail.and if we all smoke ourselves to death just think of the room on earth our kids will have.ha ha but seriously give it a thought

Drug abuse costs us as taxpayers a lot more money than we pay trying to stop them. The gov isn't that concerned about marijuana - it's the bigger stuff they're after. If you think about the cost of crime and the suffering caused by abusers, the death of innocent people and the child abuse, the cost of stopping them is very small.

The kids who are spending all their money on drugs, and get addicted are most of the people you see that are homeless and poor, and dead. Kids need an education, and drugs doesn't mix with that very well. Go to school.

Reply:THats Just a small portion of where our money goes. Four months out of a years to pay from a taxpayer goes to the government taxes. ANd who know what other types of reasearch we are paying for. Although that reasearch for marijuana is for the benefit to cancer patient or people who suffer from chronic pain. Marijuna will be taxed in the next ten years by the looks of it.
