How harmful is the Estrogen in milk?

I did some research and found out that the bovine growth hormones given to dairy cows is often passed on in their milk to the human consumer. It is suspected that these steroids have played a huge part in the decreased age of puberty in girls and the development of feminine characteristics in boys.

In short, I've decided to switch to organic milk.

Anyone else worried about this?

The hormone is NOT passed on through the milk. In fact, there is no test to detect it in milk. Farmers are on the honesty policy when they promise not to use it on cows. rGBH free just means that the farmers have signed the affadavit, there is no way to know for sure.

There is WAY more estrogen in soy products,

Organic milk is a big scam.
Reply:If you think about it, milk is designed to turn a baby calf into a huge cow in a short amount of time. How do you think it effects people?
Reply:soy proteins are more estrogenic...at the end of the day,its moderation that counts...too much of anything is bad...
